Ganpati Bappa Morya!
The favorite time of the year is here! Yes, we are as much excited as you are, for our favorite Bappa to come home and bless us. With each passing year, we are stepping more towards modernization and tend to forget what it is to celebrate the festival like we used to do in our childhood.
This year let’s all go back to the times where Ganpati was all about good times, good food and fond memories of the past so this year we celebrated Eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi.
Lord Ganesha, also known as Ganapati is believed to be the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom. Today, he is worshiped by almost all castes and it is believed that if Ganesha is propitiated, he grants success, prosperity and protection against adversity.
NITSAN Technologies celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm and devotion. Like every year this year also the event was successfully organized in our office. On this auspicious day the event started with the arrival of Ganesha statues and environment echoed with the hymns and devotional songs of bappa!

Think to go Eco Friendly this Ganpati: Every year, Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations conclude with the immersion of Ganpati idols into the sea, rivers, lakes or ponds thus posing a serious threat to the marine life.
Most of the idols are made from Plaster of Paris and toxic, non-biodegradable chemical colour and causes much harm to the life of people and animals. The call of times requires us to act responsibly and think for eco- friendly ways to celebrate this festival. Bring home idols that are crafted with clay, soil and other natural elements or make one for yourself.
Imagine how effective this one small step can be to save the environment.
We celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with Ganesh Ji’s idol made from alluvial soil.
We worshiped lord ganesha with Morning and evening aartis with offerings of flowers, durva grass, jaggery, sweets like modak, ladoo and chocolates.
Annakut was celebrated at NITSAN. Everyone brought delicious sweets, farsan and other dishes from home and offered it to lord Ganesha. We prayed for the upcoming year to be happiest one, partake in the prasad and distributed food to needy ones.
Goodbye Ganesha…pudhchya varshi lavkar ya!
We bid goodbye to lord Ganesha with a heavy heart with hopes to bring him back next year. With lots of excitement but a heavy heart too we bid adieu at Koliyak beach wishing good luck and fortunes ahed!
